# Retroactive Compensation Value Questions

## Questions/Thoughts

- Started from general question about how new folks self-assign value when transitioning to the Commitment Track from Retro Track (or if we're recruiting directly to Commitment Track -- which I don't think we currently do)

## Suggestions/Potential Ideas

- Using a Coordinape-like mechanism where peers can assess folks values, and then this is taken into consideration to the contributor's *Value* level for each cycle
- Evaluate Coordinape data from past cycles for Retroactive contributors to look at

- [ ] Identify current needs and if we want to pursue them
- [ ] Scope the needs/requirements from evaluating past Coordinape stats for Retroactive contributors
- [ ] Potentially add a field asking Retroactive contributors to self-assess *Value* level
