--- tags: Rangers --- # Haus Foundations Program ### Goals: - Phased rollout of new DAOhaus features - Farm feedback from a subset of interested users - Build FOMO for onlookers - *Stretch: bootstrap a new persistent DAO for users giving feedback/input* ### Execution - Nov. 29 - Launch Announcement along with new interface launch. - Inivte only access to the new interface. - Create "Wine Cellar" & seed with Haus (and/or) DAI? - Loot Shares awarded for attendance & participation - Loot shares linked to Discord Role Access via collab.land - Program Completion (Jan 1?): participants have two options: 1. Ragequit their loot shares for their proportion of the DAO funds (e.g. HAUS and/or DAI) 2. Convert loot to full shares and stay in the DAO ### Technical Challenges - Risk: early Wine Cellar DAO member ragequitting for large portion of the funds in the DAO - mitigation: don't seed the DAO with funds. Instead, consider putting funds in escrow to be released to DAO at end of program. - How to effectively award shares in return for participation? - hausDAO (or a representative) has 1 share in the DAO and uses that share to unilaterally award loot to participants during the program. - What period lengths and other params should be used for Wine Cellar DAO? - 1 day voting; 1 day grace ### Other ideas - give them shares, incentivize them to vote correctly on proposals by unlocking additional levels of reward funds if total number of shares reaches a certain threshold - validated by sourcecred - drop rewards each week based on collective feedback / participation - first level (intent to participate and xdai faucet): 20 xDAI put in the DAO for them - second level: - third level: participate & welcome new members in the discord - at this level, you can make sourcecred-impacting discord reactions - fourth level: look up and claim your source cred points be creating a proposal - first 10 participants get genesis NFTs (from ChievMint) ### to do - create a list of quests / tasks for participants to do - leave a comment in figma, transmutation paper, etc. - write some documentation - test different part of the new UI (tbd) - find an easter in the new UI
