### What is transmutation?

transmutation is a special type of proposal. So when the team makes a proposal to withdraw the stablecoin the same amount of tokens (based on the set ratio) is deposited into the DAO.

At the same time that the stable coin goes out, the token goes in.

### I requested funds from a DAO, does it send directly to my wallet?

the DAO itself can't interact with other contracts. but it's minion can

It's a security thing. Anytime you're sending funds to a contract, that contract could be executing arbitrary (potentially malicious!) logic as a result. Requiring the recipient to pull the funds avoids that possibility altogether
