# Token Gating a Channel with ModBot

This guide will walk you through setting up a token gating on your Warpcast channel.

## Pre-reqs
- DAO Token exists. We'll use a moloch v3 token in this example.
- Channel exists and you are the owner of the channel.

## How To

**1. Create an account on ModBot **

Connect to the app with the wallet that owns the channel. Select the channel you want to token gate and start a 'Custom' configuration.



**2. Add ModBot as a moderator of the channel**




**3. Set up you rmembership rules.**

There are a few options, for moloch v3 gating we'll use the 'Holds ERC-20' rule.

- Select the chain the token is on
- Paste in the token address
- Moloch DAO token addresses can be found on the setting page of in the [dao admin app](https://admin.daohaus.club/#/molochv3/0xa/0x2a244bb4ccd4eb0897cf61e0c61963e1e1d161e3/settings)
- Set a desired miniumum balance



**4. Set up the invite frame**

- You can set a background color.
- Cast the frame and pin it to the channel for easy access
