# Member Pledge Extension ![](https://i.imgur.com/Vzk6Nmk.png) An address that a pledging member can send eth direct to. this can simplify the pledging process ## New Member Proposal extension contract * Wraps or uniswaps the eth to the DAO payment token. * Calculate shares/loot that are available for the deposit at some rate. * Rate can be changed by owner (minion) * Rate can be calculated by some equation, total shares/loot, total balance, etc. * other logic can be added * member proposals can be restricted to this through ui and dao SOP ## flows / usecases ### dao updates new member share rate * through a minion proposal the dao can update the rate of eth to shares. ### bounding curve shares * A curve is set up to make shares more expensive as they are minted. * eth is swapped and share amount is calculated based on total shares ### taxs or fees * recruiter fees - new member sets address of recruiter (some cut goes to recruiter) * parent dao / public good tax - new member tax that can be claimed by some other dao * pyramid/MLM dao - some fee distro to all previous members ### share/loot splitting * quadratic split between loot shares. * more funds you add less shares you get and more loot. ### proposal splitter * generate multiple member proposals based on array ### conditional proposal * new member proposals are locked based on some condition in the dao (share value, total member cap) * member has to have some amount of loot for a time period before shares can be requested. ### token rewards * reward some tokens with shares. claimable by new member ## possible issues * proposal fails - can funds be retrieved by applicant * when shares are issued on a curve does the price change after the vote? * unsponsored proposals will have a share price less then newer sponsored proposals.
