# Proposal: Two DAOhaus Sessions at MCON2

Dear Yalor, aka vibe conjurer/protector,

DAOhaus loves MCON. Thank you for inviting us to host a couple sessions at the spicy school.

We propose to run the following:

### 1. Session 1 - Build your DAO with DAOHaus - Community

**Time:** Sep 7th: 10am-12:15pm

**Leaders:** Spencer, Dekan, Ven, Sky, Bau, (put your name here...)

**Wranglers:** We also need wranglers to pull crowd into the sessions
(BorrowLucid and some Moloch slayers)

**Needs**
- A/V for presenting slides
- Whiteboard for interactivity

**Session Flow:**
1. DAOhaus background (v2 -> v3)
2. DAOhaus vision (how v3 enables new tools for communities)
3. Some shared learnings about molochs and community
4. Interactive
a. Someone proposes a walk through, possibly live build community utilizing daohaus v3
b. Smaller breakout groups for brainstorming and organizing
5. Wrap up and learnings

### 2. Session 2 - Build your DAO with DAOHaus - Technical

**Time:** Sep 7th: 12:15m-2:15pm

**Leaders:** Sam, Jord, Dekan, UI369, Amos

**Wranglers:** We also need wranglers to pull crowd into the sessions (Ven, Spencer, Sky, others)

**Needs**
- A/V for presenting slides
- Whiteboard for interactivity

**Session Flow:**
1. DAOhaus Technical background (slides from docs)
2. DAOhaus Moloch v2 versus v3 overview (feature comparison; slides from docs)
3. Plans
4. Interactive Tutorial
a. Real life technical use case
b. How to buidl on top of DAOhaus
c. Smaller breakout groups for technical deep dive
5. Wrap up and learnings

> Notes:
> * Be more interactive - have work groups as cohorts? (e.g. shaman / customizing the DAO app)?

> **What's completed for v3?**
> * Alpha/~~Beta~~ version of v3 (new contracts, subgraphs deployed to several networks)
> * Alpha/~~Beta~~ version of SDK (component, feature, data libraries)
> * 3 example apps (summoner, hub, DAO)
> * Gnosis Safe summoner app (upgrade your multi-sig into a Moloch DAo)

> **What's the objective of the session?**
> * Show what you can do with the <feature>
> * Get people excited about using these tools and get them to build stuff
> * Rapid Application Development - **why** do that? ()

> * **Option A:App should be put together in 20 min to an hour (page, router, nav, data query, transaction). Need to prepare components to transfer them in. Keep emphasizing on a few key points**
> * Option B:Example should be interacting with another protocol (That's why Baal is powerful). Examples: Hedgey - Proposal form to send Hedgey NFTs to DAO members. SBTs, DAOStar, Tabula.**(Flow: Make Tabula post & vote it through the DAO > See the post on Tabula)**
> * **Option C: Start from Safe app. Summon Baal. Build an app to submit a proposal to remove signers from the Safe**
> * Use DAO data library + single proposal, form, TX builder & render the single component proposal view (stretch goal)
> * Focus on the open-source nature. CTA to contribute or build on it with disclaimer that this is alpha
> * Provide prompts at the end.
