# DAOhaus launch on Optimism: Offer & Pricing

For the DAOhaus launch on the Optimism network, we are focusing on 2 offerings.

We would like your help requesting a $35000 grant from Optimism Foundation to cover our time and expenses.

### 1) Deploy DAOhaus V3 on Optimism ($10,000)

This is the purely technical implementation that provides the necessary primitives for use of Moloch V3 and DAOhaus tools on the Optimism chain.

This involves migrating contracts, factories, sugraphs, and app deployments over to Optimism. It would also involve solving some of the more custom technical challenges that are unique to Optimism (integrating with Optimism safe, gas estimation API, and integrating with Optimism token price APIs)

### Contracts (1 day)
- Deploy MolochV3 and MolochV3 contracts
- Deploy Poster contracts (used for decentralized DAO metadata)
- Deploy any lacking gnosis contracts (if they aren't already deployed by Optimism Safe. Ex Multicall)

### APIs (1 day)
- MolochV3 Subgraph
- Boost integration subraph (suggested, but not needed)

### Apps (1 day)
- Add Optimism to Summoner
- Add Optimism to Admin

### Research
- Token Price research on Optimism

### Custom Work (major efforts: 2-3 weeks of dev time)
- Rebuild gas estimation process in application libraries to handle chains without Gnosis API (5-7 days)
- Rework token price utilities to work with Optimism token price APIs (5-7 days)

### 2) The DAOhaus Community Cohort: How to DAO ($25000)

In this phase we run a community cohort training based on our popular "How to DAO" course to help the Optimism community upgrade their coordination game.

Beyond simply teaching people how to use the product, we want to *help people solve problems within the web3 ecosystem*. The end result will be teams that are using DAOhaus technology on the Optimism chain to coordinate their purpose-driven efforts.

This course will be 10 instructional sessions across 6 weeks and can accomodate up to 30 students. There will be office hours provided for access to instructors & the DAOhaus team. A forum for student communication & networking will be provided.

Roles: Instructor, Course Material Design, Technical assistant, Video production, Office hour coaches, Advertising, Registration, Support/Q&A

**Tasks:**
Update course material, Facilitate the courses, Assist the facilitator, Provide direct support to students, Record the courses, Edit & publish videos, Advertise the course, Set up a signup system, Register students,Technical support, Forum/Discord admin

Addons:
* Distribute credentials NFT (SBT)
* Onboard to 3rd party web3 coordination tools and integerate w/Moloch DAOs
* Distribute HAUS or Optimism native token rewards for use in governance.

### 3) HAUS purchase ($X)

Our new governance oversight DAO will be called PublicHaus and will use the staked HAUS token to grant governance rights. A purchase of HAUS by Optimism would allow participation in governance and also signal support & investment in our community & protocol.
