# Roadmap working notes #### We have a number of parallel (related) objectives: - L2 network support - Deeper member engagement in their DAO(s) - Boost marketplace - Full decentralized community lifecycle - CCO platform - Interconnected DAO ecosystem - Sustainable $HAUS tokenomics - DAOhaus/pokemol as fully decentralized applications ## Roadmaps by Objective *Many of these items include aspects that we (war camp) can affect and some that we rely on the ecosystem for* ### L2 network support > Overall goals: cheaper/smoother DAO actions; being where users are 1. Initial xDAI support 2. Initial IDChain support 3. Smoother cross-network UX 4. Optimism support 5. Other L2 networks --> **TBD** 6. ETH2 ### Deeper DAO engagement > Overall goals: make DAOs more successful by helping members be more engaged 1. Pokemol revamp 2. Free boosts (Launch 0) - Discourse (basic) - Notifications (basic) 4. Deeper engagement from existing members 5. Better new member onboarding ### Full decentralized community lifecycle a. early: multisig b. middle: permissioned DAO c. late: permissionless / token-governed DAO 1. Enable transition from early to middle - "upgrade to DAO" Gnosis Safe App 2. Enable transition from middle to late - CCO platform (see next section) ### CCO platform > Overall goals: become a destination for new projects to fund their priorities and then melt into the community 1. HausDAO dogfooding and transmutation infrastructure 3. White glove CCO mvp 4. Productized CCO contracts and UI tools 5. Full CCO integration with DAO ecosystem (e.g. via $HAUS) ### Boost marketplace > Overall goals: create a self-sustaining and diversified marketplace where DAOs can improve their operations with new, modular capabilities 1. Boost infrastructure and initial UX 2. Boost pricing / launch strategy 3. Boost Floor 1 - Premium discourse - Premium notifications - Productized Custom Theme 4. Support for third-party boosts 6. Boost Floor 2 (deeper engagement from existing members) - Other notifications - IFTTT / zapier? - webhook? - DAO-based access control (e.g., collab.land) - Recurring proposals - DAO operations dashboard - General Minion (w/ Gnosis Safe-style transaction builder) - should this be free? - Forged Minion (mvp) - could use the $HAUS claim for this? - Extended profile page / custom member content 7. Moloch V2x support 8. Boost Floor 3 (new member onboarding) - New member welcome kit - New member proposal zap - Standard membership proposal - WETH / WXDAI wrapper - vanity URLs 9. Boost Floor 4 - DAO health dashboard - should there be a free version of this? connects to alchemist / $HAUS distro stuff - DAO operations/bank analytics - Forged Minions (various) - list out the likely most popular 11. Enable boost open marketplace 12. Moloch V3 support 13. V3 adapters as boosts ### Interconnected DAO ecosystem > Overall goals: create a self-sustaining ecosystem (economy?) of DAOs, tied together by $HAUS. "LinkedIn but way cooler" 1. DAO discovery 3. Basic DAO interactions --> payments 4. DAO partnerships (basic) --> one-way 5. Child DAO creation/management UX support 6. DAO partnerships (trusted) --> two-way 7. DAO to DAO membership UX support 8. Mutual proposal support 9. DAO recommendation / curation - for individuals to find DAOs to join - for DAOs to find other DAOs to interact with ### Decentralized application 1. Deploy DAOhaus/pokemol front end on IPFS ([Fleek](https://fleek.co/)?) - CI/CD? - Proposal based deployments and feature releases 3. Transfer domain / ENS name ownership to a DAO (HausDAO?) - what are the implications for routing? - is there decentralized domain management? 4. Move lamdas and other servers to decentralized alternatives - Rework summoning flows that depend on apis and dynamodb - Notification lambdas and bots 6. Move source control to decentralized github alternative ([radicle?](https://radicle.xyz/)) 7. Metadata storage - Dao meta - Proposal meta - Boost configuration meta - Data hydration in the dapps 8. Wait until The Graph is decentralized or find alternatives 9. Move away from Infura ([Pocket](https://www.pokt.network/)?) 11. Move product management tooling out of airtable ## Overarching Guiding Principles ``` - Facilitate iterative alignment within (and across!) DAOs - DAOs as first-class citizens - Maximize health of the DAO ecosystem ``` ### What is DAOhaus? https://hackmd.io/0pwp80luQXm5CFfyU1OGKA ## Potential DAOhaus success metrics *per period (weekly, monthly, etc.)...* #### DAO health - active DAO members - number of sponsored proposals per DAO - voting participation percentage (shares and members) - voting power distribution (gini coefficient? banzhaf power index?) - DAO member churn rate - amount of value the DAO has dispersed - number of ragequits #### Ecosystem health - unique ecosystem member churn - active DAOs - active DAO churn - number of DAOs as members of other DAOs - number of Child DAOs - vertex-connectivity of the ecosystem - average [erDAOs number](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erd%C5%91s_number) - *some way of measuring diversity of activity?* #### DAOhaus product health - Boosts purchased - revenue from boosts purchased - number of CCOs launched - value contributed to CCOs - value transmuted (transmutated?) in CCOs
