--- tags: rangers, roundup --- # Weekly Roundup System ### Roundup System Overview The following document has been created to support the person(s) filling the role "***Roundup Wrangler***" in support of the **DAOhaus Weekly Roundup**. ##### What is the Weekly Roundup? The DAOhaus Weekly Roundup is a curated digest of all the great developments taking place within the DAOhaus developer and contributor community. The Roundup has been setup to support information symmetry and dissemination across the community and wider web3 ecosystem, so that anyone interested in catching up on what DAOhaus has been up to can get a direct download on what is happening within DAOhaus on a Week-to-Week basis. ##### How can I help? If you would like to contribute to the DAOhaus Roundup, this guide has been setup to help you along the way! To become a *Round Seeker* simply follow the guide below! ### Core Duties: Collection, Curation, and Distribution - ***Time to Complete:** 1-hour maximum* - **Make Requests on a Weekly Basis** ##### Collection Each week, on Monday between 2-4pm UTC / 10am-12pm EDT, the *roundup seeker* is responsible for sending out the **[Roundup Collection Form](https://forms.gle/p1xdvCsSbPHGFUEb9)** for collecting the previous weeks accomplishments along with any developments, goals, needs, or exciting updates contributors wish to share looking ahead. Along with the form, the *roundup seeker* will send out the following boilerplate message to `@warcamp, @warcamp-temp` in the **"Weekly Roundup" thread under Rangers** that calls attention to the form, asking Warcampers to politely and expeditiously fill out their responses. **Boilerplate Message** > Weekly Roundup: This is your weekly reminder @warcamp @warcamptemp to provide updates about your accomplishments, recent developments, exciting updates, goals, needs, offers or requests. This can be anything you feel the larger community should be aware of this week. The roundup will be turned into a weekly tweet thread and possibly expanded into a substack article at the end of the month. > Support the **DAOhaus Weekly Roundup** by submitting your input to the **[Roundup Collection Form](https://forms.gle/JGYQCXq4vhbPf2br5)** before 0000 UTC / 8pm EDT Monday. If you submit your response after 8pm EDT Monday, your answers will be recorded and included in the following week's roundup. > Responses will be edited & composed into the **DAOhaus Weekly Roundup** to be posted to our twitter the following Wednesday at 6pm UTC / 2pm EDT. Warcampers will have until 0000 UTC or 8pm EDT on Mondays to submit their inputs for the Weekly Roundup, submissions recorded after this time can be saved for the next week's roundup! *This process should be followed each week, making for simple Rinse & Repeat and little overhead for contributors to this process* ##### Curation After all responses from the previous week are recorded, it is your responsibility as the *roundup wrangler* to refine the content that has been submitted by DAOhaus contirbutors into **280 character** mini-digests that can be sent out to the community in the form of tweets! Content should be object oriented and remain relevant to developments that took place over the previous week or forward looking updates the community should be aware of. Updates should be concise, to the point, well polished and audience ready for viewership! ##### Distribution Distribution of the content shall take place as soon and no later than when the *roundup wrangler* is ready to ship said conent and before mid-week (Wednesday at 6pm UTC / 2pm EDT). Ideally, the *roundup seeker* will post the refined tweets between the hours of 3-6PM UTC / 11am - 2pm EDT) for the greatest degree of viewership and engagement from our twitter followers. *(the success of sending tweets at this time is is based off sheer observation from Bau).*
