- why the timing is good (now)
- how it might generate revenue

- Prota is a venture studio
- BanyonDAO is the DAO version of Prota
- Will incubated Figmant
- will and Mike built Banyon DAO to learn DAOs
- want an incubator where they can share things like building a busisness and market and money stuff
- Spencer came to them about DAOhaus's future
- don't need to own peces of all the companies
- want to host apps like Yeeter at their incubator
- working with other capital funds for the incubator graduates

### How to reduce our burn...

We did a raise of 750 eth
- plan to sell in three bunches

Dekan says we're doing a great job, but because of the situation with our decreased runway we need to get more lean, focus and prioritize for the following months.

We're getting weary with all the meetings and surveys and can now make decisions so we can get effective.

Shipping v3 is the most priority, based on surveys.

It's nice to do lots in parallel, but when we're running lean lets focus.

#### There were 4 proposals
- Global Slash
- cut everyone's stable pay 50-60% and supplement with HAUS
- Surgical cuts
- prioritize shipping the v3 product and funding the builders who do that
- what are builders willing to lower compenation so they are still focused builders
- Dekan prefers this one

- requires more overhead and changes
- Do nothing
- burn runway in >2 months

If you want to get your own funding and focus on an initiative, go for it.

This is a short term fix.

This is a time for focus and simplicity.

Above all we have relationships.

360 eth moved from cco dao and replaced with 50k haus (check) - twice the amount of the last one, based on passed proposal to double transmutation ratio given current conditions - motion done to insure lessened incentives to core contributors / loot holders to rage quit and market buy, keeping more eth

276 eth than immediately turned to 295 (check) wXDAI in the compensation dao (assuming this is thousands) - generating a 3 month runway with a 90k spend goal/limit

Final short term decisions to be made at alchemist meet tomorrow - So what to do with the remaining Eth (253 ETH) - about 280k DAI. We could swap it into another 3 months or let it ride on the chance of a upcoming rally - decision to be made at the alchemist meeting tomorrow. This is unf. half as much we were hoping, but we still 10x above the first ... (erh dekan fumbles) 3k - but still...

Website copy and design update incoming.
HausParty won't be able to make it this thursday - Binary and UI will support, Felipe is on it too.
Christina is owning DAO of the week (and owning it good - says UI) and tweets are getting some nice traction

Articles backlog - wallet connect boost in the pipeline, and a similar one on "DAOHaus Connect" kagami to give some attention over the next week - we'd like to do that about every week or two budget permiting.

Documentation changes - Amos and UI doing dev rel overhaul on the docs based on feedback from active devs (Hedgey, Nestor and others) "Mint a Million" tutorial turned into tech docs based on video tutorial

Yap DAO - Not a ton coming from that due to obvious meltdown, Yap keeps pitching, trying with "Chain debrief" a new publication, and pitching an OpEd idea to Defiant and others around "5 things to know if your startup should be a DAO" and suggest DAOhaus DAOs in that regard.

Notified Yap about our budget situation - and that we might need to prioritise our contributors over paying them. They were understanding and hopefuly we won't get there.

Mage-Smiths
1 new issue, 14 closed. Chris G fixed a bug (yay community contribution), 3 milestones of project (didnt here) - gnosis safe upgrade fully deployed, some mention to an integration, plor speak fast. Switching out of the graph hosting service.

128 issues done on the V2 front - some blockers with nx, an open pr that might fix some atmospheric issues, Summoner, we have an alpha issue - celebrate the first clickable buttons on v3! Theres a walk through in the tavern channel.

Designers working on global navigation, dark and light modes and discussing the meaning of "done". Moving to final details and documentation around all these tools.

End of the month coming and milestones are looking good on everything, UI still to be. Quantstamps quotes are in - 90k cash or 60k Haus to look at the contracts.

Tension: Seems we can't pay an audit with what we have, but seems we can't put these contracts unaudited out there. Could be something for us to add into something like a Gnosis grant. GO team should be a good team to audit this given that they know ins and outs of DAO things.

Discussion follows on the weighted relevance of DAO goals and the spreadsheet - Spencer asks team to reflect how those weights will touch on your activities within the DAO. They are working on a finished version of the spreadsheet allowing warcampers to allocate their attention across the objective set

Questions about fulltime equivalent weightings. Previous fulltime commitment was about 15 people.

E2T asks "What if we v3 developers just leave and work on our own?"

Dekan says "We need to align behind some objectives by the end of the week"

Is there a path where a Warcamp contributor could forgo payment altogether in the short-term to trustlessly receive that comp at a later date when it's less of a burden on the DAO? Or receive some symbolic payment that could be redeemed later?
- This is, functionally, the same as taking HAUS
- Except HAUS doesn't have a clear off-ramping strategy that avoids pains to the DAO... maybe that's my own density. Nor do we currently have the option to be paid in 100% HAUS.

What if what is decided is valuable is not what a contributor thinks is valuable? What if they then decide to work on what they think is valuable, but are downgraded in value, even though they feel that the work was most valuable. It might be hard to keep contributors who are doing excellent work that is decided as a lower value.

Should we be spending our potentially last days on reorganization?

1. collect the workstreams
2. put them in most valuable order

Collective agreement on where our destination is over the next few months

### Individual Ratification Proposals for Cycle 4 Commitments

Cycle 4 technically started a month ago

For the first time there were dissagreements on contributor value levels

Market constraints and concerns about getting leaner probably affect dissagreements about contributor value levels

Need to get a move on ratifying Cycle 4 commitments to pay people.
- gonna be late anyway

Propose:
- one time basis: ratify each contributor individually
- helps identify where disputes are
- set a process for resolution

People requesting to move up a level because they need more pay or cuz they want a different category?
- Bau: 60-70% classification; 20-30% value; wants to build a savings but recognizes the bear market

Lets practice talking about money.

Do people want a raise, a promotion or both?

**We don't want to take too much from the pot and end it all early.**
**We also don't want to undervalue people so they end up looking elsewhere.**

Let's try to focus on this particular thing right now and save cycle 5 for after cycle 4 is resolved.

If there are individual ratifications, then disputes can be dealt with individually.

Escalation system
- if someone is asking to go up a level
- check with the buddies
- helps keep people from leaving
- check with the primary circle first
- then move on to the greater DAO

Easier to manage at a smaller scale

it signals value which feels existential

Intentional:

What is the cap on Warcamp burn?
- we want to onboard more
- we want a more diverse ranks of DAO members
- can we afford to scale triple what we're doing now?

How do we design a system that makes people feel welcome within a finite space?

Are we taking it for granted that we are onboarding? Is that onboarding a general want for more or is there specifics that we need?

Camp Fire presentation shares the needs of circles.

Are there internal people that can take care of some of the needs before onboarding?

What are the priorities and needs that take precident?

Are the people already in Warcamp fully engaged as much as they want?

With the amount of eth that we are expecting to have, we can roughly double our burn rate and have about 1.5 years. CCO was designed with this in mind.
