# Compensation Process Flow - Each compensation cycle lasts 2 months - A cycle starts on the 1st of month 1 and ends on the last day of month 2 - this will likely create some date / day of the week weirdness, but its the least confusing/annoying option - ![](https://i.imgur.com/BUyJzmh.png) ### Cycle 0 (Setup) 1. All contributors fill out self-assessment form 2. Warcamp comes to consensus on value levels for all contributors selecting the commitment comp track 3. Paladins tally up monthly DAI and HAUS budgets for commitment comp track 4. Paladins create proposals to move 2 months of DAI from Warcamp `Vault` minion and HAUS from Warcamp `Sweet Potato` minion to the new `Commitment Compensation` minion - alternatively, we can upgrade `Vault` to a Safe Minion, put both DAI and HAUS in there, and then move both to `Commitment Compensation` as part of the same proposal via multicall #### Month 0.2 ### Cycle 1 #### Month 1.1 -- November '21 - Day 1: retroactive comp track contributors make their initial Month 0.2 budget requests to their respective circles - Days 1-7: Coordinape epoch 0.2 - Day 7: Paladins disburse HAUS bonus from Coordinape epoch 0.2 - Day 7: circles request Month 0.2 budget from Warcamp `Vault` minion into respective circle dao minions - Day 14: Paladins create proposals to move Month 1.1 commitment comp budget of DAI and HAUS to `Commitment Compensation` minion - Day 14: circle budgets are in circle dao minions; retroactive comp track contributors make distribution requests - Day 21: Month 1.1 commitment comp budget is now in `Commitment Compensation` minion #### Month 1.2 -- December '21 - Day 1: commitment comp track contributors make disperse proposal for Month 1.1 base compensation (DAI and HAUS) - Day 1: retroactive comp track contributors make their initial Month 1.1 budget requests to their respective circles - Days 1-7: Coordinape epoch 1.1 - if you don't GIVE all your tokens, you don't get any HAUS bonus - Day 7: Paladins disburse HAUS bonus from Coordinape epoch 1.1 - Day 7: circles request Month 1.1 budget from Warcamp `Vault` minion into respective circle dao minions - Days 7-14: contributors re-stake their HAUS bonus for Warcamp shares - Day 14: Paladins create proposals to move Month 1.2 commitment comp budget of DAI and HAUS to `Commitment Compensation` minion - Day 14: circle budgets are in circle dao minions; retroactive comp track contributors make distribution requests - Day 21: Month 1.2 commitment comp budget is now in `Commitment Compensation` minion ### Cycle 2 #### Month 2.1 - Day 1: commitment comp track contributors make disperse proposal for Month 1.2 compensation - Day 1: retroactive comp track contributors make their initial Month 1.2 budget requests to their respective circles - Days 1-7: Coordinape epoch 1.1 - Day 7: Paladins disburse HAUS bonus from Coordinape epoch 1.1 - Day 7: circles request Month 1.2 budget from Warcamp `Vault` minion into respective circle dao minions - Days 7-10: all contributors meet with buddies and then fill out self-assessment form and comp elections for Cycle 2 - Days 10-14: Warcamp comes to consensus on value levels - Days 7-14: contributors re-stake their HAUS bonus for Warcamp shares - Day 14: Paladins create proposals to move Month 2.1 commitment comp budget of DAI and HAUS to `Commitment Compensation` minion #### Month 2.2 - 1 week before Cycle 1 starts Day -7: Circle leads request budget into circle DAOs for previous month for retroactive comp track contributors (proposal in Warcamp DAO) Day -7: Paladins request DAI and HAUS budget into Warcamp minion for previous month for commitment comp contributors (proposal in Warcamp DAO) Day 0: Previous cycle ends Day 1: Retroactive comp track contributors request base pay from respective circle DAOs (individual proposals in circle DAOs) Day 1: Commitment comp track contributors request base DAI pay from Warcamp minion (single disperse proposal against Warcamp minion) Day 1: Commitment comp track contributors request base locked HAUS “pay” into lock contract (individual proposals against Warcamp minion) Days 1-4: Coordinape epoch covering the previous month Day 4: Bonuses are paid out & contributers see Coordinape results (including whether they received more or less than expected) Days 4-6: All contributors meet with buddies Day 7: Commitment comp track contributors submit updated self-assessment form Days 8-10: DAO signs off on those submissions (including new Value and Commitment levels)???
