# SZN3 veDAO - A Rewards-Boosting Cartel for HAUS LPs

veDAO is a rewards-boosting cartel aimed at supporting the HAUS:WETH pool with deep liquidity on Balancer v2.

By banding together as a DAO, we seek to bolster the impact that any one of us could have as individuals supplying HAUS/WETH liquidity to Balancer.

Over the course of the next 12-months, veDAO will take in ETH through a yeet, convert it into BAL/WETH to stake for veBAL, take veBAL and vote on the [HAUS/WETH gauge](https://forum.balancer.fi/t/haus-weth-80-20-gauge/2682) to bring Balancer Protocol revenues and BAL emissions to the pool, and finally stake its HAUS/WETH BPTs to earn pool rewards.

veDAO is here. Starting **Sunday, May 1st at 9am EDT / 1pm UTC** you will be able to yeet ETH into veDAO for loot. The join period will be open for 4 days until **5pm EDT / 9pm UTC on Wednesday, May 4** (see below for how to participate).

After you have successfully yeeted ETH into veDAO, you will be a part of the veDAO cartel focused on boosting rewards for all who participate.

### Let us take you through **why you should yeet**:
- No gas costs for (you) the yeeter! veDAO will subsidize transaction fees for staking, unstaking, and transferring assets.
- You’ll receive a share of Balancer protocol revenues + BAL rewards earned by SZN3 veDAO through staking its BAL/WETH and voting with veBAL.
- Your earnings will be higher by joining the DAO than by going it alone: the veDAO will take care of all the operations and cover all gas fees.
- You’ll receive a sweet POAP to commemorate your participation in SZN3 veDAO.
- Your ETH stake will be converted into a composition of WETH/HAUS/BAL.
- You’ll support HAUS liquidity and help create demand for the HAUS token — if you’re already a HAUS holder, this is great for you!
- If we stake enough HAUS/WETH for veBAL, we can possibly take bribes to allocate reward to other pools

### How will it work?
1. Participants — that’s you! — will contribute ETH to the DAO and receive loot shares. This process will be buttery smooth using the DAOhaus Yeeter.
2. The DAO will convert the ETH into BAL/WETH, and then stake that to receive veBAL (see details below)
3. The DAO will use the veBAL to vote on the HAUS/WETH gauge to support BAL emissions to the HAUS/WETH pool and to earn Balancer protocol rewards — that means yield for you!
4. The DAO will stake its HAUS/WETH BPTs to earn BAL rewards for the DAO — more yield for you!
5. BAL emissions will be claimed and re-staked for more veBAL
6. At the end of the SZN we will return all staked assets and rewards to DAO treasury. 💥

**Participation Details**
- Loot price will be based on the market value of existing SZN2 loot shares
- Minimum contribution: 0.18 ETH
- Maximum contribution: 100 ETH
- Yeeter Goal: 42 ETH
- Yeeter Maximum: 420 ETH
- Yeeting Start: Sunday, May 1, at 9am EDT
- Yeeting End: Wednesday, May 4, at 5pm EDT
