## DAO design jam

**1. Launch a new v3 DAO**

**3. Onboarding**

#### Subscriptions
- Anyone can subscribe at anytime
- Monthly fee: ? (10 DAI?)
- 1st time registration fee: ?
- disincentivize subscription lapses
- Funds are pulled from subscribers wallet each month
- These will be soul bound nfts
- Non-transferable
- Active subscribers will have the sbt in their wallet
- The shaman can revoke the SBT if the address cancels or the monthly transfer fails
- Each month the shaman pulls subscription fee and the address gets 1 share in the DAO
- maybe 10 shares?
- What does active subscription membership grant you?
- beer at events?
- beer box for each new beer?
- rewards not on a schedule you can predict == try to stop people from dropping subscription and re-upping before events

#### Lifetime memberships - VIP
- Not related to subscriptions but intended to bootstrap DAO treasury
- BOM event was our first one of these
- 666 genesis members have a lifetime membership
- Need at least 666 shares for lifetime benefits

- Not always available
- Lifetime memberships go on sale at specific times
- similar to Yeets or auctions
- events, new beer relaseses, ect...

- DAO decides the price/period for each sale
- see gnosis auction for mechanic idea
- set # of tokens
- auction determines the price for shares

- Purchasing these give you transferable DAO shares

- Threshold for rewards/VIP status (2400 shares)
- keep this exclusive

- Benefits for share holders:
- they have more DAO governance
- 1 free beer at each event
- more exposure to future profits

- This is why shares are transferrable
- exposes you to the ability to speculate on your shares

Goal of the meeting was to start defining the roadmap to ETHDenver.

### ETHDenver distribution plan

- Sasquatch locked in a deal with the venue to buy our beer supply and sell it at the event
- This will reload our treasury
- We will also be brewing a kettle cucumber sour for ETHDenver
- ETHDenver is paying for it and branding it (i think?), but it's 'brought to you by Raid Brood'

### Workstreams leading up to the event

**1. Design and launch the subscription program**
- can be in conjunction with a migration to a v3 moloch dao
- need to design the program and tech to support
- monthly cost / what you get for it
- how do we reward current BOM members?
- how do we reward red pil nft holders (past and future)?
- 1 beer === 1 share, but red pil cost at ETHDenver is going to be higher than at MCON
- general dao design
- Onboarding: shaman to give shares in dao
- be explicit about what the DAO does and what do the dao members govern

**2. Comms**
- how can we capture event exposure?
- website re-up
- explain subscription model and how to get onboard
- showcase ETHDenver partnership and collect leads for other interested projects/partners

**3. Barrel aged BOM event**
- plan the event at Wood Boss
- how do we sell the beer and how does that relate to DAO membership
- 1st way to get a subscription?
- yeeter?
- how can we incorporate the kong chips we have available for this

### Next Steps
1. Sasquatch to create a [treasury projection](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1H-0sdkMJ35K9wLXClIs5jKlG4fLt2JsC-UncsZ1Eeto/edit#gid=0) based on the ETHDenver deal.

2. We need another meeting ASAP with more interested members to:
- Brainstorm the above workstreams and activities
- Form teams or identify leaders to work on this stuff
