## President

Hello all, my name is Jameel Brice, your current Vice-President, and Lead Mentor. I have been with the Computer Science Club since its official instatement in 2019. In that time, I have helped plan and host an assortment of events, including hackathons, game nights, and professional development workshops. With this variety of experience, I will be running for President of the Computer Science Club. If elected, I will continue my current vice-presidency efforts and tackle issues such as internship readiness, club engagement, and community development. Thank you for your time, and hopefully, this semester, I will see you all as President of the Computer Science Club.

Greetings! My name is Kassandra Tchemi, I am a Sophomore majoring in Computer Science from Washington, D.C.. I served as your Treasurer for the Computer Science Club Spring Semester 2021. As treasurer of the CS Club, I was able to serve the members of the CS/IT department while showcasing my leadership and collaborative skills. I had the pleasure of hosting several events such as the Freshman Mixer Event, Game Night and etc.. If elected as Vice President, I would continue to showcase my skills and incorporate them into helping the CS Club progress towards a prominent community. It would be my pleasure to continue to work on the CS Club board to serve and ensure every student feels, seen, appreciated, and welcomed!

Hello CS and IT majors, I’m Evan Timko and I want to be your next Computer Science Vice President. So, why vote for me? Hi everyone!! My name is Lillie Hunter and I'm a sophomore here at the university. I am running for event coordinator and I am looking to help people make bonds with others in the department. I believe this past year has limited contact for us all and it's harder to make friends in your classes and within your major. I want to hold different events for CS club so everyone can be engaged with each other safely. My end goal is to create a more open and family-oriented environment. I think it's important to know the people in your major because you never know if one interaction with someone else could possibly lead to a longer-term friendship, a person to network with, or your next business partner.

Although in a freshman this is just the first step to potentially becoming the president where I will represent the club as a whole. I’ve loved technology since I was younger now that i’m older i’m ready to put those dreams into action.

Hello everyone! For the past year and a half, I have had the privilege to serve as the Vice President and Events Coordinator of the Computer Science Club. In that time, the board has implemented several programs that we believe have greatly improved students' experience in the CIS department and division overall. Some of the more significant programs we've introduced include the Mentor-Mentee program and the Code Swarm hackathon. In addition to having more of these programs and events, ensuring the longevity of the CS Club is one of my main goals going forward. When Stephon and I decided to revamp the CS Club, our goal was to empower its members with the confidence and agency to succeed during their time as students and beyond graduation. I would love to continue doing so as your Miss CS for the 2021 - 2022 school year. I hope that I can continue to facilitate these improvements with our leadership in the coming semester. Thank you.
