## [Lyra: Fast and Scalable Resilience to Reordering Attacks in Blockchains](https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/10177428)

* [MN] Lyra is a new consensus protocol that solves the problem of former order-fairness protocols (Triangle inequality) . The key idea is the combination of a commit-reveal protocol to obfuscate transaction payloads, and a leaderless ordered consensus protocol that predicts the order of transactions.
* [MN] Therefore, not only is the order of transactions predicted correctly but also a byzantine leader cannot change the orders as the protocol is leaderless.
* [MN] At first, they propose a Byzantine Ordered Consensus (BOC) for a partial synchrony environment, then extend it to a leaderless SMR protocol. They also implemented it and compared it with the Pompe protocol and showed that it has better performance and scalability.
