## 1. Principles of Online Assessment
### Activity 1 (individual - group - cohort) (15-20 mins)

Note your participation is anonymous, unless you sign-up, which isn't required at all.
* When was the last time you were an active participant in a formal test/ exam?
* What was the context?
* What kind of testing was it?
* How did you feel while taking the test?
* How useful did you find the test in terms of demonstration of learning?
**STEP 2:** Discuss in groups. (5 mins)

## 3. Types of Assessment
### Activity 3: (10-15 mins)

* Which assessment types could be applicaple for your course/ discipline?
* Which did you use successfully in your courses?
* Which would you find challenging to implement?
**STEP 2:** Briefly tell your small group about one of the assessment types you consider implementing. What will it demonstrate to you? What does it take to implement?
**Step 3:** Document some of the answers to the questions above by commenting on them using this slideshow [instructor will demonstrate]
