# CrisisDAO Update - 1/16/22
Hello Fellow CrisisDAO Members,

Happy New Year! It has been quite some time since the last update. I hope you have all been staying safe and healthy these past few months. These past couple of years have been hard, but I have enjoyed being a part of the crisis community, and I hope you have too. Here is my summary of what is happening:

**Member Meeting**
We will be hosting an open member meeting to kick off the new year and the 2nd season of our DAO on Wednesday 1/19/22 @ 2 pm PST/5 pm EST. We hope you can join us. There will be a recording for those that cannot make it.

**Membership**
We opened the DAO to new members on 9/10/21. Since then, we have grown from 36 to 61 members. It has been great adding many new voices to the hive mind, but our overall engagement seems low. We will likely be refreshing our committees this season, so if you are interested in refining our onboarding and membership practices, keep an eye out for announcements about joining the membership committee.

**Assets**
Our friend Dale has continued to grow in value and is currently worth about 83ETH. We also hold an M1 & M2 mutant serum, which can make two mutant ape brothers for Dale. We originally planned to use these so Dale would have some friends, but the longer play may be to hodl the serums. They are becoming more valuable as they become scarcer. Until we can find Dale an ape friend we purchased some Cryptoadz so he has a few pets to keep him company. Their names are Bud, Wei, and Ser.


!vibe - We also purchased 7 other Cryptoadz which we are working on flipping.

Our portfolio is strong, and the floor prices of the majority of our assets are above our cost. We have started to list/sell some of our assets to realize some of our profits.

**Proposals**
Proposals: We have had a bunch of proposals to date. We have struggled with engagement which means that some proposals failed because they did not get a 30% quorum. We would encourage members to stop into the discord maybe once a week if possible and allow notifications for @Crisis DAO Member pings and #✨ │ announcements channel. We ask that members consider delegating votes to active members if they are unable to vote regularly. You can check out all proposals to date here:
