# CrisisDAO Update - 9/8/21
Hello Fellow CrisisDAO Members,

It seems like everyday is a crisis these days and yet maybe everyday is a gift too. I wanted to reach out with an update on some of the things happening in the DAO. While at times it has felt like a bit of a rough start, I think we as a collective hive mind have made great progress together forming an organization and investing our funds. Here is my summary of what is happening:

**Urgent - Additional Top-Up/Buy-In**
We are currently allowing original members to buy additional $CRISIS tokens up to a 3 million $CRISIS max. The deadline is quickly approaching to do this as the price of our tokens is going up 9/10. If you want to increase your buy in here is a link to a doc with info. Act quickly as funds need to be received by the end of the day tomorrow 9/9.

**New Members**
We will begin allowing new members to join CrisisDAO starting 9/10. We will likely start by gathering contacts of those interested and the membership team will be rolling out an onboarding process in the coming days.

**General - Engagement**
One thing that we aren't always getting is engagement and discussion about some of these proposals. We are also barely getting our 30% querem for many proposals. I would encourage members to stop into the discord maybe once a week if possible and allow notifications for *@Crisis DAO Member* notifications. This should keep you in the loop.
