# ☑️ Proposal: Create FOMOFund Multisig

Create a Gnosis multisig wallet to hold some subset of funds with a lower barrier to spending, so that we can capitalize on more urgent opportunities.

## Actions

1. Create a separate multisig wallet with 2 of N signatures required. N is the number of addresses in the relevant committees:
**Scouting committee and Security committee members are included.**
3. Transfer a subset of CrisisDAO funds to the FOMOFund multisig:
**Start with 5 ETH.** (Reups will be done through additional proposals.)

## Process

Two people agree that some opportunity is FOMO-worthy, then one of the following scenarios takes place:

1. Execute a multisig purchase directly from the FOMOFund.
2. One person buys it with their own money and gets reimbursed from the FOMOFund.
3. Funds are sent to a designated purchaser who makes the buy and transfers the assets to the CrisisDAO.

No snapshot voting is required to execute a FOMO purchase. An informal seconding (+1 or 👍) from a relevant committee member on Discord is sufficient.

## Further Improvements

(This section is _not_ part of the proposal vote.)

These processes can be performed informally or we can formalize them through additional proposal votes in the future:

1. When the funds need to be reupped, we can take that as an opportunity to write up a short post-mortem on how the last iteration of fund spending went, and if we want to make any changes for future process.
2. When a direct multisig purchase is impossible, the designated buyer writes up a receipt for the purchase which includes transaction IDs for receiving DAO funds, purchasing the asset, and transfering the asset to the DAO.
3. Designated purchasers can be rewarded for their effort through additional CRISIS token grants.
