# Exploiting rotation invariance
The perspectives employed by Mats is one way to make use of translation invariance of the toric code, the direct effect is to reduce the action space to four output neurons (each corresponding to qubits surrounding a plaquette affected by a syndrome).
One can push the idea further making use of rotation invariance of the system, therefore reducing the action space even more to 1 output neuron. In this case, more perspectives are given to the NN including the four rotated board views.

## Comments
- Training takes longer. Over all code sizes tested, there is a factor 2 increase in time.
- Some trainings sometimes seem to get trapped more easily in bad local minima
