# Background

Not everything related to conda will be on conda.org. There are other sites that contain information that the conda community will benefit from finding. We want to make conda.org the one-stop shop for conda ecosystem info. To do that, we need to search other sites.

This page lists our initial set of sites to search.

| **Chat Rooms**? | Are our chat rooms searchable? | Gitter no. <br /> Matrix: Google does not currently search them, and it [doesn't show rooms](https://view.matrix.org/) that are in Gitter (which is most of them). |
