# CR march workshop day 3 preparations
[Instructor guide](https://coderefinery.github.io/git-collaborative/guide/)
cr-workshop-exercises organization on github, separate from coderefinery organization!
-> 4 repositories for exercises
We will add people to centralized-workflow-exercise-recorded.
1. All instructors need to be added to the cr-workshop-exercises organization and after acceptance be made maintainers
2. Team stream-exercise-participants, for the exercises
4. centralized repos need collaborators, but currently they should only have read access, needs to be changed to write when lesson starts
Repository creation to be documented later
Access request is repository so that not everyone will get email about created issues. -> We have their github account from the issue
Accepting people can be done before, but might also need to be done during exercise on the day.
People from issues need to be added to the repository
"add member" to stream-exercise-participants with read access, now they got an invite email. Also add some text as comment to the issue that has been added.
Process to add people:
1. Find issue at access-requests
2. Copy their username
3. Go to https://github.com/orgs/cr-workshop-exercises/teams/stream-exercise-participants/members , "add member"
4. add that username to the team with read access
5. Close issue with below text:
Issue comment to close the issue with after adding them:
"""
We have added you to the CodeRefinery exercise repository.
What you should do before the exercise starts:
You will get an invitation from GitHub to your email address (that GitHub knows about). Please accept that invitation so that you can participate in the collaborative exercise.
To make sure you don't get too many emails during the exercise, don't forget to "unwatch" both https://github.com/cr-workshop-exercises/centralized-workflow-exercise and https://github.com/cr-workshop-exercises/centralized-workflow-exercise-recorded.
To "unwatch", go to the repository and click the "Unwatch" button (top middle of the screen) and then select "Participating and @mentions".
