Bring your own classroom: "someone" invites random researchers/students to watch the workshop and do exercises together
-> blog: https://coderefinery.org/blog/bring-your-own-classroom/
Local classrooms will be listed on workshop event page, example from last workshop: https://coderefinery.github.io/2025-03-25-workshop/#local-exercise-groups
Registration can be however you prefer:
Bring your own team: Someone who knows the topics of the workshop well invites colleagues or own research group to watch the workshop and do exercises together
We connected the dots with Jakob from DTU -> Samantha sends connecting e-mail :white_check_mark:
Instructions from last workshop: https://coderefinery.github.io/2025-03-25-workshop/certificates/
PhD students need certificate of attendanche: apply themselves with own prof
It would be helpful to map hours for full workshop to ECTS -> approximated to 1 ECTS based on workload for 6 half day workshop
Can Enrico provide certificate for all also this year? -> Samantha finds out
Ding has connection to Danish reproducibility network (mostly at KU, Copenhagen)
Data stewards: plan to make the materials more approachable for non-tech people who might not need the tools themselves but may want to know what its about to support researchers
Data science platform in Dings department: host own git workshop, many people deep into git
-> could be combined, maybe people who did that workshop can skip day 1 of CodeRefinery?
