Cybersecurity Observer FAQ

When will my observer access expire?

Your access remains active as long as you use the same GitHub account.

Can I still join the current program?

No, class rosters are final for this term.

Can I apply for a future Cybersecurity course?

Yes! You’re welcome to reapply if you meet the general eligibility requirements.

Can I request observer access for a different course level?

No, observers can only access one course level per semester.

Where can I find session recordings?

On the Resources tab in the CodePath Course Portal.

Where can I find the exercise problems?

On the Lab and Project tabs in the CodePath Course Portal.

Will I get a certificate for completing the observer program?

No, only enrolled participants who complete and pass the course receive certificates.

You're welcome to reapply as long as you meet our general eligibility requirements.Is there a basis for assigning tracks?For students who submitted their HackerRank Calibration assessment, we based their track level on their scores. For students who were not able to submit their HackerRank Calibration assessment, we have assigned them a track by default.Can I request Observer access for another level of this course?Sorry, a student is only allowed access to one course level of a course this semester.Where can I find the session recordings?You will find the session recordings on the Resources tab of the CodePath Course Portal.Where can I find the exercise problems?You will find these on the Assignment tab of the CodePath Course Portal.If I complete the HackerRank tests, do I get a report of how I did?We currently don't send out HackerRank reports to observers.
