CodePath will be introducing the teams and our organization to guests (professionals, clubs, faculty, other students) 1. Each group has: - **3 minutes MAX** to present their app - the order of the groups will be based on the Group RSVP Form that is also linked at the top 1. The TFs will message you to make sure you are ready to present and call you up ***Groups need to know which group goes before them so they could respond promptly to the Guru and transition to their presentation efficiently*** * ⚠️ Order of presentations will be shared the day of Demo Day ***If the lead presenter is not paying attention, Tech Fellow will PM other people in the group at random so make sure you are all paying attention even if you are not the lead presenter*** ## Presentation/Pitch Decks #### Presentation Suggestions ==__Suggestion 1:__== - 3 slide pitch deck - Each slide contains GIFs of their apps core features - *Keep the text in the slides very brief!* - Lead Presenter has deck ready as soon as Demo Day begins - Go through slides and discuss core features and maybe technologies used to implement - **Slides Arrangement example:** - Slide 1 - App Name/Problem tackled and team members - Slides 2 - 3: - Technicals (i.e. APIs, schema, databases, prototype, the context of the app) - Plans for the future (i.e. Startup potential, Revenue Model, etc.) ==__Suggestion 2:__== - 1 slide pitch deck + Simulator running the app - slide only contains information about the team and what your product is - Lead Presenter will have **1-slide deck and simulator** ready and running as soon as demo day starts - Simulator should be open at the **main start point of the app - ==not== the login screens** - This means your presentation of your simulator should begin at the home page and skip the login process because you need to only show core features and talk about them in about 3 minutes or less *Teams should have **rehearsed at least 3 times** how they will pitch their app prior to the demo day* ==__Suggestion 3:__== - Professional Ad YouTube Video - Imagine you were a startup and needed a marketing video... ## Voting Criteria for Ties Here are the categories to ***help*** you break ties when voting: - **Most Innovative** – used new tech such as Vision, AR, VR, AI, Machine Learning, etc. - **Best Design** – had some interesting UI, Animations, Color schemes, etc. - **Best Product Idea** – potential to make money or turn into a business idea <!-- ## Winners Students will be invited to attend CodePath's National Demo Day as Finalists.
