# Ethan Nguyen Bi-weekly Check in (1st Round) ## Basics - UCI Student - last quarter was not official TF, but took role of one - Personal reward from teaching people - a little awkward because no dashboard access so had to communicate with a middleman - wasn't too bad at all - no one ever felt out of the loop - everyone was on the same page - About to be a 2nd year - took class 2 quarters ago ## Lab/Tools/Resources Feedback - What do you think about the training? (I.e. slow, fast, just right, hard, easy) - Not Applicable as he does not really attend training just shows up for attendance - What do you think about having separate trainings one for those who never took the iOS course before and one for those who already took the iOS course? Note - What do you think of changing our 7am lab to 8am? - This question is only relevant to the students - How can we improve the labs - official codepath documentation could be improved - UCI writes their own step by step guides and it works out really well - students really like it - How can we improve the assignments - assignments biggest issue is that there is a lot outdated things even when you follow guides step by step - update all assignments - universal error plan, update every semeester - Have you checked out our portals (i.e. task tracker setting up organizer dashboard, course portal, discusssion space, notion space). Any Feedback? - Having a Guru (Memo) as direct point of contact makes it easier to navigate - has not interacted with the Notion we made for TFs during training - at first glance sees its a good way to organize links ## How Familiar are you with CodePath - Who do you know from CodePath? Note - How well do you know the team structure of CodePath?
