*Why do you want to apply as a Tech Fellow?*
- Have been TAing a course for 2.5 years
- Discussed ancedote with students asking for help
- Wants to teach after he graduates
- Likes Codepath's diversity
*What skills do you have that would contribute as a Tech Fellow? Prior experiences?*
- Teaching is not just about having soft-skills, they should be a role-model for students
- Definitely technical skills
- Have been technically mentoring students
- Attended conference regarding how to succeed in grad school
- Common patterns
- Give students an opportunity to speak up
*What does it take to build a good community in the classroom?*
- encouraging students to stay (not leave department or class)
- Understands that some studnets come in with a no-help mindset
- Combat: break into groups with assigned questions & everyone must talk about what they contributed
- Gives him a good idea of where everyone is at
- Requires focus
*What skills do you want to build/improve on? (technical/non-technical)*
- "There is no end to improving your technical skills."

- When students ask a questions where I don't know the answer
*How was the TF application process? Would you make any changes to improve it?*
- Fine.
- Duration between submission and interview is a long time (2+ months longs)
*What would you improve in CodePath?*
- Everything seems so perfect
- Also taken the android course
- Thinks everything is so clear
- Cybersecurity course
- Some information was missing

### Tech Fellow Covid Grant
Grant of `$599` sent directly to tech fellows via PayPal. All Tech Fellows can apply (for-credit, non-credit, returning, new, etc.). To qualify, TFs must:
* Write an essay about COVID + CodePath community-building
* Attend + Participate 9-week leadership training
* Recruit minimum of 15 students (Admitted status)
