# Tech Fellow Society Meets
### Purpose of Proposal (Why TF Society Meets?)
Our TF community suffers from lack of events to bring them together. We can host valuable events every 2 weeks or every month (i.e.Q&As with engineers, recruiters, or alumni) and bring our TFs from all courses together to learn something new.
## General Structure
### When will sessions be?
Throughout the semester while TFs are teaching (**not** during training).
**How often**
Bi-weekly or monthly on Saturday
**Length**
1 hr
### What happens during the event?
Small zoom events that talk about a variety of topics. The events can range from recruiting opportunities to socials.
**Topics**
- Career advice
- In the shoes of [Role] (i.e. iOS Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Full-stack engineer, CTO, QA Engineer, etc)
- Opportunities at [Company, Startup, New CP Programs]
- New Technologies
- Socials (i.e. games and stuff)
- Other?
### How are we managing the events?
Take turns with course Gurus bi-weekly or monthly to organize the event, recruiting a special guest/alumni they know and plan out the program of the event + slide decks.
**Example:** *March*, iOS Guru Team. Memo recruits alumni Miguel, who is interning at Intuit in iOS, and Josue, who interned at Target for general SE. German collaborates with making the slide deck. Mark collaborates with Marketing team to make raffles/giveaways. All three collaborate in coordinating the program and slide for this month.
### Possible Outcomes
- Everyone (including CP Team) will get a chance to meet alumni from all of our courses and the different pathways that they have taken.
- Provide new opportunities/resources that TFs may have never heard of
- Obtain ideas to improve our team/courses
