* Ends in a Demo Day where students showcase their apps. ### A quick description about iOS for CS Majors:

This course features 12 weeks of intense, project-focused iOS training inspired by software engineers and facilitated by CodePath-trained Teaching Assistants.

During the first half of the course, you will build your skills through labs and projects using the APIs of popular apps like Tumblr, Yelp and Twitter.

You then apply what you’ve learned in the second half of the course, working together in small teams to build a completely original app from the ground up.

The culmination of the course is a [**Demo Day**](https://blog.codepath.org/codepath-hosts-first-national-virtual-demo-day/) event at which you present your finished products to an audience of peers, faculty and industry professionals. In the past, we had tech leaders from Facebook, Microsoft, Intuit and Verizon attend our demo days!
