Prior experiences?* - Has knowledge in networking and cybersecurity (taken classes on these in undergrad) - Reads textbooks on cybersecurity for fun! - sooo cool - Loves the codepath structure and network *What does it take to build a good community in the classroom?* - Bottomline: how comfortable everyone is in the classroom - Icebreaking is important - Students are able to approach the teacher with questions - Keeping the class interactive and not one-sided - Making sure everyone understands the topics before moving on - Building an environment where everyone can express themselves - Students are able to interact with each other *What skills do you want to build/improve on? (technical/non-technical)* - How to effectively maintain an interactive classroom - Kahoot games at the end of the class *How was the TF application process? Would you make any changes to improve it?* - Application was "pretty straightfoward" - THERE WAS NO TIME LIMIT FOR SLIDE DECK PRESENTATION - TODO *What would you improve in CodePath?* - not really. finds the structure in general very comfortable (slack and content) - Reading material is very educational. but lacks many links to current articles. ### Live Demo Applicants should present their favorite tool that they used from the previous course that they've taken with. This should be presented through slides. * **Additional notes:** - I like how you started from the bottom before jumping into heavier technical topics :+1: - Audible and clear speaking :+1: - Admire slide content :+1: - Including diagrams :+1: * **Verdict:** Pass - Appears to be very motivated to join the TF team - Expressed her gratitude for the codepath courses and excitement to continue learning - Seems to be applying for all the right reasons. ### Tech Fellow Covid Grant Grant of `$599` sent directly to tech fellows via PayPal. All Tech Fellows can apply (for-credit, non-credit, returning, new, etc.).
