# Kunwar Sahni Interview ### 9/7/2020 **Course:** iOS **University:** Purdue ### Personal Questions *Tell me about yourself.* - 2nd yr at purdue, likes iOS, been doing it since middle school - iOS was a cool development platform because could see the changes on storyboard - Likes being part of the iOS development club and doing more advanvced club after *Why do you want to apply as a Tech Fellow?* - Has never TA'd before or being in a teaching position in a college level class so would love that experience to be in a classroom teaching - *What skills do you have that would contribute as a Tech Fellow? Prior experiences?* - has good leadership experience in settings with teams - part of a few clubs on campus where he is a dev lead in them - well versed in programming in general from robotics club he's part of *What does it take to build a good community in the classroom?* - Its often hard in normal CS courses bc the prof is older and stuff and just teaches, likes CodePath more because he is a student and could relate more to the students and gain more trust - having someone in the same age with same experiences could help increase engagement - Class and Lab sections were one *What skills do you want to build/improve on? (technical/non-technical)* - Increasing the ability to troubleshoot and debug better and faster - especially in iOS, very common issues - More experience with talking to people and approaching debugging *What would you improve in CodePath?* - Curriculum: Thinks that curriculum is well-balanced for people who are brand new, but for people with more advanced programming or some iOS experience it would be nice to bring in new concepts like SwiftUI, or iOS14 widgets... basically more advanced topics ### Live Demo Applicants should present their favorite tool that they used from the previous course that they've taken with.
