Got really interseted in becoming an iOS developer. Really exciting to keep learning. - san jsoe state 4th year took ios course before wants to be a ios dev *Why do you want to apply as a Tech Fellow?* - [THIS IS GOLD] Taking the class at the beginning face-to-face with Samina and Ayesha. Samina asked Duy to present in front of everyone. He really liked presenting what he did in front of the class. That triggered him to pursue applying as a tech fellow. SAMINA helped Duy get out of his comfort zone. - inspired by samina and the experence she gave him a a TF likes the comunity anf ti improve ios skills *What skills do you have that makes you think you are a good fit? Prior experiences?* - Proficient in multiple languages (react, java, and more, libraries, firebase). Back in community college he was a computer lab tutor answering student questions. Internship experience right now working on a project. Organization skills. Time management. Deadlines are important. - react python swift java in CC was a CS tutor real world experence *What does it take to build a good community in the classroom?* - Communication. Slack channel. Using slack channel is really helpful. Make sure students turn on slack notifications. **Send reminders constantly (i.e. hw deadlines, class session, etc)!** - communication and slack, comunication for getting help to keep all the students intrest - slack notifactions and remiders should be tuurned on so the students can be alerted -conflictipn between discusion site and slack *What are your apprehensions or which areas you believe needs improvement & support.* - Explaining details and make them interesting to listen. Communication. - time managment is strong but explinations that are intresting needs improvment *What are your expectations from CodePath?* - Be prepared.
