# Lovpreet Hansra Bi-weekly Check in (1st Round) ## Lab/Tools/Resources Feedback - What do you think about the training? (I.e. slow, fast, just right, hard, easy) - hoenstly it's kinda helpful - found autolayout really useful - stuff at the beginning was pretty basic - finds it slow and easy but also feels like she learns better doing stuff on her own - What do you think about having separate trainings one for those who never took the iOS course before and one for those who already took the iOS course? - thinks it will be a good idea - since people that havent taken iOS course - What do you think of changing our 7am lab to 8am? - def yes lol - How can we improve the labs - follows along with some stuff but has not finished - did not really do labs during iOS course because assignments took more time - what if you missed a week - starter codes - what's the real likelihood - feels like students would be really bored from watching TFs do lab - feels like live demos should be more like workshops focused on specific topics - thinks even with TF stopping and asking questions and giving students time to code and catch up it will still be boring and it'll be harder to engage with things being on Zoom - How can we improve the assignments - feels like the required features are really good for learning the necessary basics - Have you checked out our portals (i.e. task tracker setting up organizer dashboard, course portal, discusssion space, notion space). Any Feedback? - does not really use Notion - feels like the Notion has a lot of links and does not know where to go - would like the covered topics to show in a drop down under the relevant week ## Sites with 1 TF - Do you know any friends who might be interested in helping you? - 2 main routes we are considering: - Start a batch 2 of training or - Help with marketing, operations, attendance (non-iOS stuff) ## Get to know each other - wanted to be TF because she does a lot of teaching/mentoring roles - really enjoys helping people come into CS bc where she is from ## Questions / Concerns
