Introduction
Cloudscape Media Art Platform is a platform for art articles and research focused on visual culture and internet culture. Its research themes include five key areas:
- Post-colonial historical methodology and video art
- Posthumanism and ecological/participatory art
- Critical AI and database aesthetics
- Cyberfeminism and the practice of commoning
- Internet art, net art and online curatorial models

The author, Emily Hsiang-yun Huang, is an artist and curator with a background in philosophy and sociology.
