# Sabir Mechanic Guide ###### tags: `GW2` Click [here](https://hackmd.io/@ViafaSia/HJMytyZyB) for Chinese version. [TOC] ## Basic Mechanic In this encounter, there are 3 phase in total. Player who with the highest toughness will get aggro. There is a other one important thing which is, player will get a special effect stack on self. when it reach 5 stacks, player will get a special action key can be use for teleport. this skill will also Stun 5 seconds nearby where player teleport to. ## 1st phase ( 100% - 80% ) ==at 90% HP==, Sabir become CC-able, infinity barrier show up, wind keeping blow players out. Players will need a lot of CC ( more than 10K ) so players can keep going. at 80% HP, Sabir will run away. A stair will show up for players. There are some air elementals on the stair. After kill it, will spawn a small tornado can makes player jump up. A bigger platform have many tornados, players will need to use it to fly. white tornado can let players fly, but red one will let players die, be careful. ## 2nd phase ( 80% - 60% ) from this phase til end, tornados will running on the arena, it have some mechanics need to know. 1. Sabir will use a shockwave which it is a VERY hurt skill, players will ==need to use tornados, fly up and glide in the air, to avoid shockwave==. 2. Special effect and special action will disappear when players use tornado. 3. After fly up, tornado will shoot a white laser, it will hurt player who still on the ground. ==at 70% HP==, Sabir become CC-able, infinity barrier show up again. ## 3rd phase ( 60% - 0% ) From this phase, there is a new mechanic need to CC too, Sabir will get a effect make it stronger and stronger ( more damage and less damage taken )so players will need to interrupt it. This defiance bar is different from that infinity barrier. This one has very fast recover speed, which means players will need to CC it at the same time. ==from 50% HP til end==, there are 2 new mechanics show up. 1. super big red tornado ( don't touch it or you will die ) 2. Sabir will summon a thunder, hit whole arena. but this time is not going to use tornado, players will need to ==find safe spot to avoid it==. There are 2 safe spots show up on arena. Safe spots will be opposite at the corner. Due to super big red tornado, probably have only 1 safe spot can be use. The other one will be shrouded. from 40% til end, there are air elementals show up, outside of arena. spawn every 30 seconds ( just like Sabetha's cannon ). Air elementals are very weak at the beginning, but will become more strong if players don't kill it. Besides, air elementals will immobile players who on the arena, it's very affect player's movement. ==at 30% HP==, Sabir become CC-able, infinity barrier show up again. 0% HP, the end.
