# How to create a Extended Tag in Mp3Tag?

## Intro

Are you a person who just like me really confused about why there is no Lyricist, Arranger nor other roles in the Metadata that can be edited?

Here, I'm going to share how to create/add an Extended Tag in Mp3tag and write Metadata into songs !!!

## Part 1: Customize the Editor (Panel)

1. Right Click the left-side panel, and click the "Customize...", you should be able to move to the section of "Tag Panel" in the Option automatically.

2. Click the "Add Field..." that has a star right above the corner on the left side of the section of Metadata.

3. You will need to fill "Field", "Name", and choose the "Size of the field".
- "Field" is the most important part. This will be connecting the all Metadata over the songs and the editor.
- "Name" is simply just for User Interface, you may casually put any words you like in this part, just make sure you can identify it later.
- "Size of the field" let you adjust the size, pretty simple.

## Part 2: Customize Columns

1. Right Click any part of the title of column, and click "Customize columns..."

2. Click "New"
3. You will need to fill "Name", "Value", "Field".
