I won't say that I don't like this game. However now i'm going to leave and here are some words and reason. First thing is, this game is made by punch of エアプ(eapu). They probably don't even know what are they doing, or just mail it in. Second, this game have full of toxic casual player, it's part of the reason that why high-end players are driven away from this game. The thrid reason is kind of simple, and related with the first one, this game has no content.</p> [^eapu]: Eapu(エアプ) means “the person who pretend having experience of something, even though the person never played or done it” https://latelyjapanese.com/slang/20200415/meaning-of-eapu%E3%82%A8%E3%82%A2%E3%83%97/ ## ArenaNet staffs don't even play their onw game 首先說明第一點,任何有認真玩過這款遊戲的玩家應該都知道 2021 May 11 的那次平衡堪稱災難,就結論而言, condi scg 這套 build 完全成了 meta winner ,當然了,其他以 Torment 為主要傷害的 Build 都因此而受惠,但顯然操作難度與其可能的輸出上限並不平衡。 <p class='eng_text'> Let's start with the first one. Any player who has played this game seriously should know that the balance of 2021 May 11 is a disaster. In terms of conclusion, the build of condi scg has completely become a meta winner. Of course, other builds with Torment as the main damage will benefit from this, but obviously the difficulty of operation and its possible output upper limit are not balanced. </p> 對,簡單來說我就是認為操作簡單的 build 不該有那麼高的傷害。 <p class='eng_text'> Yes. In simple terms, in my option that a build with simple skill rotation should not have such high damage. </p> 更何況 necro 有著比其他 class 更多很多的功能性, Skill 方面有 epi, grasp, cpc, undeath signet... , Trait 方面也有很多種不同選擇,整體來說每一條 Trait 都有派上用場的時候,想要傷害有傷害,想要保命也可以改 Trait 來達成,真的需要的話甚至有 Trailblazer 這個 stat 可以採用,僅僅損失少少的 dps 但可以大幅提升生存力。 <p class='eng_text'> While necro has much more functionality than other classes. For skills, there are epi, grasp, cpc, undeath signet... , and for traits, there are many different options for it. Overall, every Trait comes in handy when it comes to. If you want to increase the damage, you can have it. Or if you want more survivability, you can have it as well. If you really need it, there is even the Trailblazer stat can be consider, without losing too much damage but increase a lot more survivability. </p> 而 ArenaNet 就像沒有玩過自家遊戲一樣,把翻轉 Torment 傷害當成 feature 一般的放到遊戲中,卻沒有考慮到平衡,甚至也不考慮 power creep 了。 <p class='eng_text'> And ArenaNet is just like never played its own game. It puts the flipped Torment damage as a feature into the game, but it doesn't consider the balance nor even the power creep. </p> 就算不說 2021 May 11 的 Balance ,更之前的平衡也都一樣,敏感一點的玩家都能感受得出來 ArenaNet 八成沒有測試員,或是測試員都在亂玩,根本也不理解這遊戲。 <p class='eng_text'> Even if you don't talk about the Balance of 2021 May 11, the balance before it is the same. The sensitive players can feel that ArenaNet probably has no testers, or the testers are playing randomly and don't understand the game at all. </p> 最後出現的結果就是,每次 Balance Patch 後 Benchmark 呈現的結果是極度的不平衡。 <p class='eng_text'> The result is, it is extremely unbalanced which presented by Benchmark after every Balance Patch. </p> 當然了,撇開遊戲傷害這點,另外也有很多地方是可以看出來 Anet 在亂做遊戲,例如 Skimmer 剛開放水下的那天,一堆人卡在 Frostgorge Sound 和 LA 沒辦法完成成就,只因為 Anet 根本沒測試過他們自己做出來的遊戲,結果 event 進度卡住,結果小遊戲不能上坐騎,大家都要想辦法 workaround 而不能用正常方式遊玩。 <p class='eng_text'> Of course, leaving aside the point of game damage, there are also many places where you can see that Anet is making games casually. And than, people can only progress by workaround it, which is not the normal way for the game. </p> 回到本節重點,這垃圾平衡的主因就是因為這一群雲玩家根本沒玩過自己做的遊戲,那為什麼還要繼續玩?每一次平衡都是越來越差勁,而 2021 May 11 就是最後一根稻草,造成大量菁英玩家出走,有在關注 speedrun 的玩家就知道慘況。 <p class='eng_text'> Back to focus on this section, the main reason for this rubbish balance is just because this group of エアプ(eapu) have never played this game they made, so why should I continue to play? Every time of the balance patch is getting worse and worse, and 2021 May 11 is the last straw, causing a lot of elite players leave. Any players who are paying attention to speedrun community know the miserable situation. </p> ## Those Toxic Casual Players 對,我就是在罵那些 toxic casual player ,一群無知的井底之蛙,遊戲應該要越打越好的,然而大部分的玩家都是擁抱 condi scg ,然後不知道怎麼的就過關了,連腦子都不動,而且更誇張的是還不願意學新的,更好的 build 。 <p class='eng_text'> Yes, Right now I'm blaming those toxic casual players, a ponch of ignorant frogs at the bottom of the well. This game is too easy to play, the gaming skill should be better and better. However the most of toxic casual players are just play condi scg forever, no brain needed, kill a boss without knowing mechanics, and stop learning other builds/things. </p> 這遊戲真的很簡單,因為有 dodge 可以 evade attack ,所以就像 dark souls 一樣,必須要學會閃躲敵人的攻擊,而這只是基本中的基本,有了這個基礎後,接著就是提高傷害,把敵人快速的擊殺,而且越快越好,縮短戰鬥時間就能減少面對機制(攻擊)的次數。 <p class='eng_text'> This game is just too easy to play becasue we have Dodge can evade attacks. Like Dark Souls, gotta learn enemies' attack speed and pattern to avoid it. This is just the basic of the basics. Having this basic knoweldge, the second thing is arrange your attack between non-dodging-time. Increase attacks and more and more, killing enemies faster and fater. Shortening the battle time could be able to reduce the number of times facing the mechanics or attacks. </p> 而這個道理給 toxic casual player 聽到後,他們的回應就只是「我玩我的,這不關你的事。」或是差不多這樣子概念的回應。 <p class='eng_text'> However, after telling this truth to the toxic casual player, their response is just "I play mine, it's none of your business." Or a conceptual response similar to this. </p> 這給我一種「我們在建立屬於我們的 meta ,你們高端玩家滾去自己組一團,別跑出來 lfg 干擾我們。」這樣的感覺,現在的我完全可以理解大神 Crone 為什麼不打野團,因為 toxic casual player 之所以被如此稱呼,正是因為他們 toxic 。 <p class='eng_text'> This gave me a feeling like "We are building our own meta, you high-end players go and form a team, don't come to lfg to interfere with us." Now I can fully understand why Crone don't join pug at all, because those people are toxic. </p> 還有另一件事可以說,不能 pre csat 技能這點也是讓很多高端玩家無法接受,這款遊戲從剛釋出到現在已經 9 年了,算 8 年好了,算到不能 pre cast 的那次更新。高端玩家都能打開包包,在詠唱技能的過程切換武器,在詠唱結束後使用另一組武器的技能,這個「熱拔插 (hot-swap)」的技巧在以前完全是一個 feature ,然而那群 toxic casual player 卻說這是 bug, excuse me? <p class='eng_text'> There is an another thing can be tell, about the patch that made "pre-cast" other weapons' skills, which makes many high-end players unacceptable. Before that patch, it's about 8 years long, peoples are able to open the item panel and swap weapon during casting skill. This "hot-swap" trick is totally a feature that toxic casual players just don't known. But after the patch, they just say this is a bug? Excuse me? </p> 這個對 casual 玩家如此遙遠,根本不關他們的事情的玩家卻在那邊歡呼?表示改掉後遊戲會更健康?這豈不是正大光明的在趕跑那些認真想打出傷害的玩家? <p class='eng_text'> This is thing that so far away from casual players, not about their business at all, but they were cheering? Were they telling people that the game will be healthier after the change? Isn't this just shooing away those players who are serious about doing dps? </p> 另外還有很多可以說,例如傷害高出隊友一大截也被踢出, point out 路人指揮官的錯也被踢。這種生態到底是怎麼回事?用 toxic 來形容只能說剛剛好。 <p class='eng_text'> In addition, there are many things that can be said. Using "Toxic" to describe them is just right. </p> ## No Content 這相信大家都知道,甚至弄了個 return living story 來拖台錢,而且每一季中間還有休息,另外還有長達 5 周的萬聖節活動,當然了,根本沒有新玩意兒。 <p class='eng_text'> I believe everyone knows that Anet even got a return living story to hoping players not to leave, plus, there are some downtime between every season, and there is a Halloween event that lasts for 5 weeks. Of course, there is no new stuff at all. </p> 看看當紅的 FFXIV ,人家一次 patch 就是 GW2 一張資料片的內容量,這未免也差太多。 <p class='eng_text'> Take a look at the popular FFXIV, one patch is the content of one piece of GW2 expansion, which is way too much difference. </p> 就算不說高端玩家,最近這兩年流失一大票玩家很多也都是一般玩家,而離開的原因就是因為沒內容,但 ArenaNet 好像覺得無關緊要似的,照樣自己做自己的,和社群零溝通。 <p class='eng_text'> Even if you don’t talk about high-end players, a lot of players have lost in the past two years. Many of them are ordinary players. The reason for leaving is just because there are no content. But ArenaNet seemed to feel irrelevant, and still be its own, and zero communication with the community. </p> ## Thoughts 最近這一兩周思索了很久,最後得出的結論只覺得我沒有在 2021 May 11 和大神們一起退坑,是我在 Tyria 做出最大的錯誤,這個營運以及社群生態,一再的讓認真的玩家失望。 <p class='eng_text'> I have been thinking about it for a long time in the last two weeks, and finally came to the conclusion that I did not quit this game with high-end players on May 11, 2021 was the biggest mistake I made in Tyria.
