# How to optimize Thief's Critical Chance

## Introduction

> Keen Observer: Increased bonus critical chance from 5% to 10%.

Since Keen Observer got a quite nice buff, using previous Builds in the lastest Patch will cause Thief exceed 100% Critical Chance and this is wasteful. And this is why we are now going to optimize Thief's Critical Chance.

Following Builds are calculated with SC Benchmark standard which means the Boon/Effect related to the Critical Chance have been taken into consideration. In this article, we will use Deadeye as an example. If you are looking for optimization about Daredevil, you can just change elite specialization to it, there is no effect on Critical Chance. (We will talk about Silent Scope at very end.)
