Spent some time thinking about how to turn [HackMD](https://hackmd.io/) into an IndieWeb friendly website. It would require them to offer domain mapping, but otherwise one could publish/sync to GitHub and use Github Pages as a solution possibly. Another potentially simple round about would be using Blot.

Most other things could be got with some basic templates and a bit of HTML to do microformats for proper replies, bookmarks, etc. (They do offer saving templates and inserting from templates.)

[Replying](https://boffosocko.com){ .u-in-reply-to } to a post. Sadly, it looks like they don't support microformats (at least this way), so it would be difficult to manage replies without resorting to HTML.

I could almost see using HackMD as a social media platform. If only it had feeds as a way to easily follow people.
