Floating Panel === ###### tags: `Public Maps` To display a preview of the map on top of the base map, click on the eye icon to the left of the map title. The subtitle and URL for the source will appear at the top of the map layer panel. Click on the eye icon again to close the preview. ![](https://i.imgur.com/LU0FI9o.jpg) * ### Add selected into “Your layers” After finding one or more maps you want to use, select the chosen map(s) by ticking the box next to its title (1), then click the blue “Add selected into Your Layers” button (2). This will then remain in the map panel under “Your Layers” (see Your Layers description above). ![](https://i.imgur.com/9uajy0k.png) * ### View IIIF map layer in an external viewer. If the text is in blue, you can view the map image in an external IIIF viewer by clicking the windows button.
