Gave Abhishek an introduction to photogrammetry and did a demo by scanning him.

Later I reused this set of photogrammetry images to create a **nerf** using [Luma Ai](https://lumalabs.ai/).

*What in tarnation is a NeRF?*

A neural radiance field (NeRF) is a fully-connected neural network that can generate novel views of complex 3D scenes, based on a partial set of 2D images. It is trained to use a rendering loss to reproduce input views of a scene. It works by taking input images representing a scene and interpolating between them to render one complete scene. NeRF is a highly effective way to generate images for synthetic data.

tldr: its a kind of photogrammetry, but with better recreation of things like.. material properties, something that in regular photogrammetry is not possible, one has to usually tweak the material properties in a post process .. process.ie: open the scan in blender and manually apply material shaders.

# Centaur

Had an odd issue with this sculpt.. ran out of canvas space.. and couldnt figure out how to scale it and reposition in VR.

and then modified in blender.. some minor posing and material groups.
Re-did the lighting and colors in Sketchfab to make it more presentable..
then went back to blender, did a basic rig and animated it.
