###### tags: `Aura` # Aura Phase 2 Sprint [TOC] ## Round 1 ###### Wednesday 2021-07-07 ###### Attendees Philip, Adam, Tom, Jonah, Monomesa, Aaron(chair) ###### Next Meeting: Wednesday July 14th, 2pm Eastern ## Links - [Figma Jam Board](https://www.figma.com/file/v6hYv7i5S6B90fyNtUY0gg/Aura-v2---Design-Sprint-14.07.21?node-id=0%3A1) ### High Level Minutes from beginning of meeting #### Philip - Right now, the weight of my opinion is not judged - Currently I have only rated people I have a "strong opinion" on. Have avoided the middle/edge trust cases. - We need a third metric for "how well do we know them"? - Concern: Showing someone as "a little trustworthy" should not negatively impact a users rating. #### Mono - I have a bad rating, and I'm not happy about it. #### Tom - What if we use a tiered system, work of previous knowledge. Use a "staked" vote, inject equity into the vote. #### Jonah - Most profound aspect of the experience: Felt like I was rating a persons "goodness" or "altruism". - We want to query an entire Node to check if a person is real or trustowrthy. - Rating "goodness" is powerful - How do we know if I'm participating in a DAO that is "good". - I can't look broadly across a community and find their trustworthiness. - Everyone is playing the game - People can carry around their aura on put it on display ## Values ### Philip 1. Provide us information that disagrees with the current sentiment 2. Tell us something we don't already know ### Adam 1. Is this is a sybil attack 2. Is this connection careful and accurate (as a participant) 3. Is this person actively participating. ### Quotes - "With correct visuals people will be stoked on their Aura regardless of the status" - "If people's Auras are small, they should know that participating will grow the size of their Aura" ### Onboard a A Remote Village Example - When Philip onboards an entire remote village - This will appear as a Sybil attack at first - Users who are familiar with Philip's behavior will bet heavy that the village is a good actor - Users who disagree with the signalling will be incentivized to participate due to potential reward ## Round 2 ###### Wednesday 2021-07-07 ###### Attendees Philip, Tom, Aaron(chair), ## Moving Things from Hackmd to Figma - [Figma Jam Board](https://www.figma.com/file/v6hYv7i5S6B90fyNtUY0gg/Aura-v2---Design-Sprint-14.07.21?node-id=0%3A1) ### Philip Pitched BrightID to non-Web3 Folks in CA - Interest was signalled ### Key Feature Definitions
