Some of the CDF key results match with the scope of the TOC. The TOC should define its own OKRs and present them to the GB for approval. OKRs define the goals and key results to help guide the priorities of the TOC team and measure success at the end of the year. Some OKRs are more practical, others aspirational, and in any case they do not represent an hard committement toward the GB and/or member companies. ### Process: - One or two volunteers to propose OKRs - Presented to TOC for review / approval - Map back to GB goals - Presented to the GB for review - The TOC can facilitate and drive initiatives ## OKRs for 2023 ### Objective 1 - Project engagement with the CDF Technical Community - KR1: project representatives join the TOC meetings - KR2: one+ project presentations from each project to the TOC - KR3: one project maintainer blog post from each project ### Objective 2 - Project interoperability - KR1: project vocabulary published for all CDF hosted projects - KR2: two tools adopt CDEvents - KR3: two blog posts about interoperability through CDEvents - KR4: CDF Reference Architecture presented to the TOC twice a year and gains feedback from the TOC ### Objective 3 - Project pipeline - Tracy: this is high priority among objectives - KR1: maintain a project pipeline of 2+ projects - KR2: two new projects join the CDF - KR3: establish clear roadmap for graduation of two CDF projects - KR4: update the project member benefits web page and PDF ### Objective 4 - Thought leadership - KR1: Quaterly update by SIG/Working groups to the TOC - KR2: Yearly published report of SIG activities and results - KR3: 1 diagram hierachical diagram of the CDF community structure - KR4: 1 diagram of the CDF groups and projects within a reference architecture ### Object 5 - TOC Sustainability - KR1: Add four new TOC contributors - KR2: Execute elections according to charter - KR3: Leave of absence policy ### Other ideas - Technical initiatives happening / started by the TOC - Interoperability - Initiatives with other groups / foundations - VSMI/Oasis - CI/CD cost efficiency - Tracy: priority / order in these objectives ### Questions - Quaterly evaluation of OKRs - Webpage with progress on OKRs - Andrea to check if GitHub project / milestones would help here - Technical implementation - Markdown in the repo
