#### Notes
- Kristina will spend less time on project management but still in charge of money
- Condensing all of our group processes into one hour-long weekly meeting (this meeting)
- Super brief project updates focused on blockers
- Optional drop-in hours
- Good idea to keep doing 1:1 consultations because it could lead to projects (and it's enjoyable)
- Optional though
- Mark out of office in calendar which might change week to week
- Don't have to do career conversations
- raises wouldn't go into place until October
**Project updates**:
Big Idea Challenges:
1. Genomics Data from Sky Islands data harmonization with Carlo Vargas
2. West Nile dashboard with Desiree Andersen & boss (SNRE)
Should have been notified by now if these proposals have moved forward. Haven't heard updates. Should start in July if funded
SPARC'd
- talking to Wilburforce & a mine about funding
Ellen Bledsoe (SNRE) reached out about NSF grant for PORTAL
- camera traps at and nearby site
- combine with remote sensing data and do hindcasting of biodiversity
- we would contribute training students on managing camera trap data & using AI tools for identifying species from photos
- Plan is to submit by June
- PI would be Morgan Ernest
