# Leverage CB Explorer Metrics to find your path to success on Chaturbate
Chaturbate Performers have no built-in way to check on vital statistics for their success as a cam performer - the main profile page only shows meager bits of information, e.g. the current number of followers, and there’s viewer data available after a cam show but not much more. But tracking progress over time can be quite motivating and is key to knowing how you are advancing, what works and what doesn’t and making realistic goals for the future - especially if any changes you are making only lead to gradual changes in viewers or followers that might be lost in the noise of short-term fluctuations.
CB Explorer has profiles for every Chaturbate performer at https://cbexplorer.com/<your chaturbate name>. Your profile has historic data over time for some key statistics - your cam rank, viewers and followers (both total and gained) - that are presented in the form of nice graphs. All of them are tracked for at least a month or more and updated on a daily basis.
## Cam Rankings
How has your cam show ranked compared to other performers in your category (e.g women, couples) and overall? Ranks are calculated by comparing the maximum number of viewers for your cam show on a given day with all other cam shows. Generally, the more popular your cam show is on Chaturbate, the higher you will rank - Top 10 shows usually have more than 10,000 viewers on Chaturbate and include some of the top earning performers. The top ranks are also tracked separately in the [Top 100 Charts](https://cbexplorer.com/top/viewers) on CB Explorer, which are updated every day.

**It must have been one hell of a show**
Using your rank as a guide enables you to directly compare your performance to your peers on Chaturbate, regardless of other fluctuations like the total traffic that Chaturbate received that day, which depending on the circumstances could be much higher (e.g. on a holiday or weekend) or lower than usual. This can also give you a good short-term goal to strive for depending where you currently are, e.g. make it to a “top 500” cam show for category women.
## Viewers
While viewership is not a perfect metric and correlation with income may have wild swings (e.g. with lots of anonymous viewers that may not tip or largely irrelevant if you are busy doing private shows), it is generally a good measure of your progress over time and your income opportunity. This also gives you a way of testing out new things for a period of time to see if it could help, e.g. using a new tag to see if it can draw in more viewers, trying out a new type of show, or changing up your schedule to be online at peak hours.

**The key to success - a consistently increasing viewership over time**
## Followers
A viewer of your show that becomes a follower is a sign of success, clearly they saw something they liked. Your goal as a performer should be to convert as many of your viewers to followers as you can so that they develop into repeat visitors and perhaps tippers and regulars over time. The most popular Chaturbate models now have [over 1 million followers](https://cbexplorer.com/top/followers), so it's a long road to reach your goals.

**A dream start 🚀 as a new performer - from 0 to 30k followers in just 4 weeks**
Many of the most successful new Chaturbate performers might not have a big followership in the beginning, but grow rapidly as Chaturbate users see them for the first time and become followers. Follower growth is a good measure of future success as more and more users flock to your show. The fastest growing Chaturbate performers are also tracked separately in the [Top 1000 fastest growing Chaturbate performers](https://cbexplorer.com/top/growing) on CB Explorer, which are updated every day.
## But wait there’s more
Your CB Explorer performer page also has a few more parts that can be useful to you as a performer - it shows you how many hours you were on cam for the last 1,2 or 4 weeks, how many days in a row you were on cam (🔥 streaks), and an (admittedly experimental) “top %” rating that roughly shows you in what % bucket you fall based on the number of other performers that were on cam over the last week and your viewership during this time period and can put things into perspective.
Lastly, there’s also a schedule showing your cam schedule 1,2, or 4 weeks back - consistency can be important here - the more squares are dark red in your schedule, the more predictable and reliable is your schedule for your viewers - over time, they will just know when you’re on and may join you without any further prompt.

## Last words
How you track your own progress and success on Chaturbate will largely depend on your individual setup. Are you a new performer just trying to build an audience? Do you mainly stick to public shows, or are privates your main income? Are you appealing to a very niche audience or rather main-stream? Do you keep very consistent cam hours, or get online with a very flexible schedule? Are you experimenting with different show types and tags or do you stick to a show format that you’ve already refined over time? The variety of performers on Chaturbate is huge - and only you can decide what success looks like for you - but CB Explorer metrics can help you visualize what happened over time and correlate it with any changes you made to ultimately help you get on the right path.
