In March, she was able to discover the miracle she was looking for on a trip to Texas. Brundidge noticed Brandon suddenly felt confident when he walked through the RV park where his family was staying. The normally shy and quiet little boy was now giggling and strutting around the park engaging with strangers and, truthfully speaking, causing concern for his mother about his newfound bravado.

"I thought what the heck is going on? Why suddenly is my son so brave?" Brundidge told CNN.

Brandon replied, "These are my friends." "They know me. They love me.

Brundige was puzzled until her son stopped her short and pointed at something.

"See? "It's my sign!" He said.

She was shocked to see a sign with the same slogan , as numerous banners, bumper stickers, and other paraphernalia found in the area.

"That's not an indication," Brundidge remembers saying to her son. "That's your book."

The book led to a charmed meeting

The origins and significance of "Let's Go Brandon" aren't all that positive.

The phrase is a swearing affirmation for F Joe Biden that was used in a broadcast of the NASCAR Sparks 300 race on October 2021. The crowd at Talladega Superspeedway was chanting the refrain when NBC Sports reporter Kelli Stavast who was apparently misinterpreting the phrase, claimed they were chanting "Let's go Brandon" in honor of the race's winner, Brandon Brown.

Let's go Brandon",' he explained.

Conservative celebrities immediately reacted to the misunderstanding, encoding it deeply in the language of politics. Now, the words "Let's Go Brandon" are commonplace online and on a variety of conservative merchandise.

Brandon Brundidge didn’t know any of this. To Brundidge, it was a source of encouragement.

Sheletta Brundidge's newest book, "Brandon Spots His Sign," was published in April, within one month of her son's epiphany. With lots of hustle and assistance from her illustrator, Sheletta Brundidge also released the book "Brandon Spots His Sign" in April.

In the story, Brandon is nervous about participating in activities like dancing and swimming because he fears that his autism will get in the way. He then spots the "Let's Go Brandon!" messages that encourage him to take more risks. The book's back is also filled with suggestions for encouraging autistic individuals.

The book caught the attention of President Joe Biden, who sent Brandon an admiration letter. It also reached Brown who was the NASCAR driver who had no idea that he was helping in the creation of the "Let's Go Brandon" craze. Brown had been publicly in a stale mood about the term and was struggling to retain sponsors in view of its controversial nature.

Brown's team contacted the Brundidges and invited them to an upcoming Xfinity Series race. Within a week, the family was at Wisconsin's Road America racetrack, participating part in the race as VIPs. Brown even had the Brundidge's book's cover splashed across the car's hood. Camaro.

The book's cover adorns the hood of Brown's race car.

"I know how it works. When you are well-respected, people invite you to go. But Brandon [Brown] was the most charming person," Brundidge said. He could have been patient. He could have looked at the book and thought, "That's cool." He understood the importance of bringing awareness."

Brandon The younger Brandon even got to push Brown's car, which he said was one of his favorite parts. Plussoc That, and getting to know another Brandon and Brown, of course.

The boy also gave the driver an autism awareness pendant that hangs on a chain which matches one of his own.

Brundidge stated, "He hasn’t taken it off since."

The pendants that the two Brandons wear to raise awareness for autism are displayed.

For Brown the meeting, which was awe-inspiring, was a chance to reclaim a phrase that he feels has become a bit snarky.

"To see this happen was like that moment of breakthrough for us," Brown said after the Xfinity Series race. This could be a positive thing. This can be an excellent thing. It doesn't need to be controversial or a source of discord."

CNN reached to NASCAR to get their comments.

The meeting has also sparked an opportunity to form a friendship

After the race, the friendship between the Brandons didn't end. Sheletta Brundidge has said that Brown texts or calls her son on a regular basis to talk about Minecraft or just check up on him.

Brandon's younger self has experienced a huge boost from the whole experience.

Brandon Brundidge got to sign his name on Brown's car.

"I have witnessed his confidence increase through the ceiling," Brundidge says. "Kids with autism are so often picked last or left out. Most of the time, it's because other children just don't understand why they do what they do."

She continues, "You just need to pray for a great support system and for love." Brandon Brown has loved my son. He has shined a light on children with autism for the whole world to be able to see."

Brandon Brundidge is now an acquaintance as well as more fans and an array of books to sign. Brandon Brundidge told CNN that it was hard work. His mom hopes this experience will demonstrate how children with autism can thrive with encouragement and love.

Even in the midst of the midst of bitter division there are always miracles.
