# MetaPool - Marketing Leadership
### The following is the proposed Scope Of Work for Gus covering the Head Of Marketing role
The following doc is an outcome of Gus's assesment on MP MArketing plus the needs manifested by Claudio on Nov 27th meeting:
- Brand Strategy and Positioning:
- MetaPool’s brand identity and culture already resonates with web3/DeFi trends and the project’s core values.
- To keep MetaPool positioning as a leader in liquid staking solutions within the NEAR ecosystem, WHILE placing MetaPool as THE main Decentralization caring LS provider in Ethereum.
- Marketing Strategy Development:
- Craft a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with MetaPool’s business goals, particularly focusing on user acquisition, retention, and tokenomics promotion.
- Leverage data analytics to understand market trends and user behavior, tailoring campaigns accordingly.
- Curation of MetaPool key Products & Services (metapool landing offers too much, and it's not simple enough for average Joe user).
- Leverage Token incentives at disposal within the overal Strategy and Goals.
- Multichain Governance & Tokenomics
- To consult (and/or lead if required) the new Meta dimension to the multichain governance and Tokenomics structure, to guarantee the required adaptations to ensure seamless coordination (incentives) and decision-making across the diverse ecosystem of chains
- Content Creation and Management:
*This **seems to be** well covered already, but makes sense, if needed, to be introduced in Gus's scope*
- Oversee the creation of engaging and informative content across various channels (blogs, social media, whitepapers) to educate and attract users.
- Manage content calendar and ensure timely publication aligned with MetaPool's roadmap and market trends.
- Lead the translation Content Translation to target markets (portuguess & Mandarin)
- Manage MetaPool's public relations efforts, including press releases, interviews, and media interactions to enhance brand visibility.
- Build relationships with key media outlets and influencers in the crypto and DeFi space.
- Front Facing: Gus will lead a good part (not everything, Claudio and Lucio will still represent MP in key strategic markets and ecosystem) of MetaPool representation on our community. Gus will also individuate Potential markets, partners & events that might add value to MetaPool core business as well as leading the communications & strategy with all of them.

- mpDAO / Challenging Points

- mpDAO is a complex organization, with diferent scopes of governance. Protocol, Treasury, Meta-gov (governing the MPIP itself), Vision and Policy Direction (how the DAO presents itself to the world, encompassing its mission, values, and strategic branding elements), Roles & Recruitment
- Need to present a roadmap to decentralization. It's not safe to decentralize it all, but a commitment to a long terrm decentalization is a best practice to promote engagement and adoption
- Better Treasury allocation mechanisms: "The amount of funds approved from the mpDAO Grants treasury is directly proportional to the percentage of votes each proposal receives" is a basic plutocratic mechanism, where money is driven by who has more money and not properly by the aggregated signalling of the community. Industry has proven better fund allocation mechanisms such as quadratic match or conviction voting. We can design and ad-hoc treasury allocation for meeting MetaPool DAO goals.
- Define technical DAO developments (e.g. hachathon participation & scope of dev)
- Feedback Loop Integration:
- Establish a system for gathering and analyzing user feedback, integrating insights into marketing strategies and product development.
- Include the Community in the evolution of Metapools Ecosystems.
- To be the escalation point from Community. Deal with issues that Community management team are not able to deal with.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead and mentor the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Work closely with other departments (like product development, community management) to ensure a unified approach to MetaPool’s growth.
- Budget Management:
- Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for various initiatives.
- Reporting and Analysis:
Provide regular reports on marketing KPIs, campaign performance, and strategic insights to MetaPool's leadership.
