# Eshita <> Polymer ## Context: * There's mutual interest in a *series of articles/content* outlining IBC (platform TBD), from the high-level comparison with TCP/IP up until (and including) the innovations to IBC Polymer is working on: * Multi-hop IBC * Virtual IBC * Zk-IBC * IBC for Modular blockchains * Currently there’s documentation / content on IBC (ibc-go implementation) from the Cosmos POV * [IBC specs](https://github.com/cosmos/ibc) * [Cosmos developer portal](https://tutorials.cosmos.network/academy/3-ibc/) * [Interchain Foundation IBC Medium articles](https://medium.com/the-interchain-foundation/tagged/ibc) * … There's room to add content focused on IBC protocol here, so exploring this further would be a great start for our collaboration. ## 1st assignment: **Scope of initial work** to sync on expectations, style etc. - For the Messari article, you've already outlined a high-level overview outlining the state of IBC, what is currently holding it back and how Polymer aims to solve this. - You indicated that you wished to do further deep-dive into the IBC protocol if provided the chance (and right audience) - You can follow up from the research you've done and article you've already written and look more in-depth at the IBC specs, **taking into account**: - the series of articles would ultimately lead to highlighting Polymer's value proposition - move away from the Cosmos centric view, i.e. look at the protocol, not the implementation (ibc-go) - go into the level of depth you're comfortable with, but still differentiates from simply reading the spec - focus on the most crucial ICS specs - Audience: Profiles interested in Polymer, fairly technical, but not specifically targeting developers ## Practical I will drop some more materials in the coming days but initially the sources listed above should provide a lot of content already for research. **Questions?** - ...
