# Part 1 - Technical (15-20 mins) You will take a look at a series of small component design pictures. For each picture, in 1 to 2 minutes, tell us what you think about it, specifically: 1. List `1` change that you can make to improve the design. 2. Explain how.

# Part 2 - LIVE design session (20-30 mins) ## Introduction: A property manager owns a rental portfolio of 20 properties, including big apartment complexes (10-50 units each), and single-family houses. In busy season, each unit (inside an apartment complex) or house can have about 10 applications with the following statuses: `incoming`, `submitted`, `approved`, and `rejected`. As part of our CRM, we are designing a page that contains multiple property cards. Each card should have the followings: - A clear indicator to differentiate between apartment complex and single-family house - The street address of the property - The neighborhood (district) of the property - The number of incoming/submitted/approved/rejected applications in the property - For apartment complex, the number of available units - For single-family house, the number of bedrooms The property manager will check this page everyday to get updates on the properties' applications ## Your task: You are tasked with designing the property card. Please: 1. Communicate with us, by asking clarifying questions, explaining your thought process, etc. 3. Go through the process of designing the card LIVE on Figma.

# Part 3 - Brainstorming & User research (20-30 mins) On our client-facing website and mobile app, it appears that only 50% of all clients that signed up with us scheduled a showing. We want to figure out: 1. Why the other half of the clients that signed up did not schedule for a showing, 2. and how we can increase the number/percent of people signing up that will schedule for a showing. From a designer's perspective, how would you approach this problem?

# Part 4 - General & behavioral questions (10-15 mins) 1. How do you work cross-functionally with developers and product managers? 2. How do you hand off a project? 3. How do you get unstuck creatively? 4. Tell us what you like about the current design of your CV, what you don't like about it, and how do you think you can improve it?
