### Running the Modpack
Run your Minecraft launcher, and you should see a `Build The Earth` installation in the list.

Click the `Play` button, and you will launch into Minecraft! If you see a custom Build The Earth splash screen once the game loads, you have correctly installed the modpack!

:::info Don't see the installation?
If you don't see the installation listed, try re-installing the modpack. If it fails again, ask for help in your team's support channel, or in the main BTE server!

## Optional: DiscordSRV
Some teams use DiscordSRV, which links your discord role to your Minecraft experience. In order to join these team's servers, you must link your Minecraft account to your Discord account. This process is easy, but new to many people!
When you join a Minecraft server with DiscordSRV, you will see a message like this:

While the formatting will be different for each server, there are two important parts. #1 is the bot that you need to message, and #2 is the code that you need to send to that bot.
In the case of Southwest, I need to message `4074` to `Southwest SRV#7289`. This bot should be in the top of the users list in every server. Once you find the bot, right click on their name, and click `Message`. Then, send the 4-digit code you received to the bot in the direct message that has opened.
<div class="rounded">

</div>
The bot will send you a confirmation message, and then you are done!

Go back to Minecraft, click `Back to server list`, and then open the server again.
:::caution Not working?
If you are unable to message the Discord bot, you may need to allow direct messages from server members, listed under `Privacy & Safety` in your Discord settings. <br/>
**This can be turned off again after you link your account!**
